Your Writing Persona

Your persona is the most important part of virentiq.ai. It's how the AI learns to write like you — not like every other business person on LinkedIn.

It's a short questionnaire — about 10 minutes. The more honest and specific your answers, the better your posts will sound.

What is a persona, exactly?

Think of your persona as a detailed set of instructions that you give the AI. It tells the AI:

  • Who you are and what you do
  • Who you're talking to when you write
  • How you like to write (short and direct? Long and detailed?)
  • What topics and language are off-limits
  • What makes your perspective on your industry unique

Every single post that virentiq.ai writes for you uses this persona. It's the difference between a post that sounds like it could have been written by anyone, and one that sounds unmistakably like you.

Without a persona

"The latest trends in digital marketing show that content consistency is key to building an audience."

Generic. Could be anyone.
With your persona

"Every CRM consultant I know has the same problem: their clients insist on chasing new tools instead of fixing their pipeline. Here's why that's backwards."

Specific. Unmistakably you.

The 10 persona questions

Here's exactly what you'll be asked — and why each question matters:

1

What is your job title, and how long have you been doing it?

Why we ask: This helps the AI understand your level of expertise and authority in your field.

2

What industry do you work in?

Why we ask: Posts will be written in the language and context of your specific sector.

3

What do you actually do day-to-day?

Why we ask: Gives the AI real, specific details to draw from — not generic descriptions.

4

Who are you trying to reach on LinkedIn?

Why we ask: Your audience shapes how formal or casual the writing sounds, and what problems it addresses.

5

How would you describe your writing style?

Why we ask: Are you direct and punchy? Thoughtful and nuanced? The AI will match your tone.

6

What topics do you NEVER want to write about?

Why we ask: Prevents the AI from straying into areas that don't fit your brand or values.

7

Are there any words or phrases you want to avoid?

Why we ask: Keeps posts sounding like you — not a buzzword generator.

8

What is a common misconception about your field you'd like to address?

Why we ask: Creates a natural source of opinion-based content that only you can provide.

9

Would you like posts to include a hook (attention-grabbing opening line)?

Why we ask: Hooks improve engagement on LinkedIn — you choose whether you want them.

10

How long do you want posts to be?

Why we ask: Short (under 150 words) or long-form (500+) — your preference.

💡
Don't overthink your answers. Write the way you'd answer these questions if a colleague asked you over coffee. The more natural you are, the better the AI will sound.

How to set up or update your persona

Your persona is set up during your first login with the onboarding questionnaire. You can update it any time:

  1. In the left sidebar, click Settings.
  2. Scroll to the section called Persona.
  3. Update any of your answers and click Save.
  4. Future posts will use the updated persona immediately.
🔄
Updating your persona does not change posts that have already been drafted. Only new posts generated after you save will use the updated settings.
