Getting Started

Welcome! This guide walks you through setting up virentiq.ai for the very first time. Follow the steps below in order and you'll be publishing posts in about 30 minutes. No technical knowledge needed.

Create your virentiq.ai account

Go to virentiq.ai and click the big button that says “Start free — no card needed.”

You'll be asked to enter your name, email address, and a password. Fill those in and click “Create account”.

After signing up, check your email inbox for a message from virentiq.ai. Click the link inside to verify your email address — you won't be able to log in until you do this.

Get your Claude API key

virentiq.ai uses an AI called Claude to write posts in your voice. To connect the two, you need something called an “API key” — think of it like a password that lets virentiq.ai talk to the AI on your behalf.

Getting the key is free and takes about 10 minutes. We have a full step-by-step guide for it — follow the link below before coming back here.

Once you have your API key, come back to this guide and continue from Step 3. You only need to do the API key step once.

Connect your LinkedIn account

Now it's time to link your LinkedIn profile so virentiq.ai can post directly to your feed.

  1. In the left sidebar, click Connections.
  2. Click the button that says Connect LinkedIn.
  3. A LinkedIn login window will open. Sign in to your LinkedIn account as you normally would.
  4. Click Allow to give virentiq.ai permission to post on your behalf.
  5. You'll be taken back to virentiq.ai — you're connected!

virentiq.ai only gets permission to post on LinkedIn on your behalf. It cannot read your private messages or access your contacts.

Complete your writing persona

Your “persona” is how the AI learns to write like you. It's the most important setup step — once done, every post will sound like it came from you, not a robot.

You'll be guided through a short questionnaire with questions like:

  • What is your job title and how long have you been doing it?
  • What industry do you work in?
  • Who do you want to reach on LinkedIn?
  • How would you describe your writing style?
  • What topics do you never want to write about?

This takes about 10 minutes. The more detail you give, the better your posts will sound. You can always update your persona later from the Settings page.

If you skip the persona setup now, you can complete it any time by going to Settings in the left sidebar and clicking Persona.

You're all set!

That's it — virentiq.ai is now set up and ready to go. Here's what happens next:

  • virentiq.ai will start finding relevant industry news and drafting posts in your voice.
  • Check the Posts page in the left sidebar to review what's been drafted for you.
  • Click Approve on any post to schedule it for publishing.
  • Or, turn on auto-publish in your settings and posts will go live automatically — no approval needed.

Head to your dashboard and see your first drafted posts.
